Galaxy Volleyball was founded by two like-minded coaches that have met through our love and passion for the sport of volleyball. Each of our journeys in life have been very different but volleyball has been a common thread that binds us. Volleyball is more than a sport; it is a community like no other.
Volleyball is Ontario’s fastest growing sport and we want to support this growth and pass on our shared love of the game to the next generation of athletes. Together we have recognized that while there are hundreds of teams competing in each age division, there are not many athletes coming from downtown Toronto. We are looking to change this and become the top Volleyball training destination in Toronto.
Our Approach
Volleyball is one of the more difficult sports for young athletes to learn as it requires a high degree of coordination, physical strength, agility, and mental acumen. Simply put volleyball is not as easy as it looks.
At Galaxy Volleyball, we understand the complexities involved in the sport as all our coaches have extensive playing and/or coaching experience. We understand that without the proper fundamentals in place, athletes will not develop at the same rate and will eventually fall behind or possibly quit the sport all together. While we commend the many parent volunteers that take up coaching roles in their communities, our approach at Galaxy is to provide only top level coaches and programs to launch your athlete’s volleyball journey. Galaxy Volleyball has programs designed to cater to all skill levels and also allows athletes to develop at their own pace and level of commitment.
Club History
Established in 2013
Became largest Toronto Volleyball club by number of teams and athletes in 2014/2015 (2nd year)
Galaxy Volleyball is dedicated to the development of youth volleyball by building, developing and enhancing athletes through a progressive training system. Beginning with LAUNCH Volleyball academy and progressing to the Galaxy Club Teams and supplemented by our Summer Beach programs athletes will be taught how to train and compete at a National Level.
Our coaching staff is NCCP Trained or Certified and have experience from club to International level on both indoor and beach teams.
Galaxy Volleyball is committed to offering the most cost effective Volleyball Club while maintaining the highest standards of coaching, systems, and technology in Toronto.
