What to Expect When You Join Training Camps
High-Intensity Skill Work - Athletes train in focused 3-hour blocks that emphasize technique, precision, and repetition. Each session includes warm-up, ball control, advanced drills, and gameplay in a 2v2 format.
Competitive Gameplay Prep - Players practice in match-like scenarios to build confidence, quick decision-making, and court chemistry—so they’re ready to compete on the OVA Beach Tour.
Expert Coaching, Small Groups - With a 6:1 athlete-to-coach ratio, athletes receive personalized feedback and performance-level instruction from experienced coaches who understand the demands of high-level play.

We created our Training Camps for competitive athletes who want to stay sharp, push their edge, and continue progressing over the summer. It’s designed for players who aren’t just playing for fun—they’re playing to compete. Whether you’re preparing for tournaments or leveling up in the off-season, this is where reps meet results.

Our training camps are designed specifically for athletes who have previous club-level volleyball experience and are serious about advancing their beach game. The sessions are fast-paced and focused on skill development, 2v2 strategy, and competition readiness. Campers are typically aged 13–18 and grouped by age and ability.

Training camps prioritize high-level instruction, advanced drills, and gameplay designed to prepare athletes for tournament play. Unlike our classic camps, which include general volleyball skills and fun water activities, training camps are structured with a competitive mindset. They also feature a lower coach-to-athlete ratio (1:6) to allow for more focused feedback and instruction.

Yes — and we recommend it! Training camps operate in a 2v2 format, so signing up with a partner ensures you’ll be paired with someone familiar during drills and scrimmages. Be sure to include your partner’s name in the notes section during registration.

SUP is optional for training camp participants and comes at an additional cost of $30. Athletes can choose to participate once or twice during the week, depending on weather and water conditions. If interested, payment can be made in advance during registration.
